I have my receiver pack plugged into #4 & #5 pins on the speedo. Remove the jumper. (2S use only) I couldn't get the speedo to work right with plugging the receiver pack into the receiver like the rest of the speedos. I use a SMC Lipo receiver pack with built-in switch.

I dont think that receiver pack works on the speedie for some reason. Same thing happened to me, wired it exactly the same way with a normal lipo. Hey presto, it all works fine I think the way its wired (SMC lipo) confuses the speedie somehow

Sold my back-up 12th scale. Need to sell my almost new Black Diamond Low Voltage ESC for 1S lipo / Brushless motors.

I have sent this back to get V2 loaded. Comes with instructions and a little cable I made for using a receiver pack.

Asking $250 US shipped.

Thanks....pics to follow tonight.

Its important to realise that the software on the BD is NOT stock software, but mod software.... It will be scary when they release full spec software!

As for 212... I will worry about when and if it can match my v2 BD let alone go faster.

And where would that be Troy. Around Windsor in 12th scale where a few brands are now handing you a beating.

Or maybe at the SA titles where you won 10.5 class with an illegal motor

Default BD V2

Dragon are you actually saying the BD V2 is not suitable for 10.5 which is stock in the Uk.
The BD is for open mod only, I run 1/12th only

No, its definitely suitable for 10.5! What Troy is saying is that it is mod software yet is still that good at spec racing that it would be interesting to see what they could do with full blown spec software

Bingo....

The software was supposedly developed for 12th scale modified racing. Its just a bonus that it also flys in spec racing even 21.5 TC! It will be interesting if they produce a software that has a bit more top end (just a little cause we like our stupid low motor temps) which is the only place it loses out and only on very big tracks.

I have been using the BD V2 in 1/10 TC with a GM 13.5 motor and could easily keep up with other brand stock spec speedos.

Has anyone tried out the BD V2 with the Speed Passion 17.5 V3 motor in 1/10 touring car? Any suggestions for FDR please?

FDR will be around 4-4.4 with SP 17.5 with 10d timing.
