In American thats 5.15 lbs. 10SC and 4 lbs 10TT. A pretty big differance. Thanks Aussie guy. Alot of 540 powered vehicles in the 4 lbs range doing just fine without 550. I'll throw a 5700 Castle motor with a Vxl Esc in it whenever mine shows up. I'll try a try a 2s on 11T pinion to start. Its going to be the wife's novice electric truck. I don't belong in that class around because I'd get tired of getting 1st nonstop. Its mostly kids and women. Around here men who can drive are running SC open and Truggy/Buggy open electric/nitro combined.

No worries, Thanks for the pound conversion

You should be on the money with an 11 tooth pinion
I'm running a 12 tooth pinion and will go to 11 as summer hits here in Australia.
The motor was very warm temp wise.

Cheers Matt

Here is a MMP with a Tekin 8.5. It ran pretty cool. ESC was 90ish and the motor was 120ish. Temp outside was mid 60's.

Checking mine out I notice all kinds of play in the front steering linkage/hubs/wheels. Is this a problem for anyone yet?

for the play I suggest you replace all the front links and replace them with the Jammin SCRT10 front links you will remove all the play. I have kept the stock setup and the play is not a bad thing (not for me that is)

as for the play in the rear I changed everything to the STRC wheel hub and changed to ball cups and titanium rods it looks awesome

Hey SS, your TT turned out awesome! Ofna has a winner with the TT, great looking and handling little truggy. Price is right, won't kill the pocket book either.
