Bought from amain forever but lately their coupon codes are a joke. Bought from tower recently and may be sending my orders to them going forward but I hate their web site. Navigation sucks.

Maybe he's on a small track indoor track, I used to run 10.5 on our track and it was perfect, I'll being trying 17.5 in mine as stock, hopefully I can get enough speed with a 38pinion, if not I think I'll go with the xb4 or zx6 once it's released, fingers crossed though I'll have enough speed cause I like this buggy.

Justin.
I assume the zx6 is a Kyosho, I'm new to the baby buggy scene. I recently traded an AE sc10 4x4 for a Kyosho 4wd drive buggy. I think it's a lazer sp5 or something like that. It came with a Savox 1256 servo and a Orion 7.5t motor setup. It's fast when it runs, I'm having a tough time getting it to run for 5mins without breaking something. I'm having a terrible time dealing with the ball difs, that's one of the reasons the HB buggy with gear difs sounds so good to me. I raced 1/8 HB buggies and truggies for a long time and have had great luck with them, I still have more of them in my rc room than I need. I don't the heart to sell them. So I'm buying another one, man I'm sick. LOL Can't wait!

Ty uses PL #2734-04
http://prolineracing.com/wheels/velo...hite-wheels-22

The reason I chose the 22's offset is because it has a flat dish compared to the typical 4WD wheel which has a convex dish. The convex dish makes the wheel nut stick out further past the tire making it more prone to getting snagged on track pipes/borders. Also when going through tech the max width includes the wheel nuts so with the convex shaped dish you end up with a narrower front track width (center line distance between the two front tires) from the same maximum width (wheel nut to wheel nut).

Looking at the wheels for the 22/22-4 they don't seem to have a recess for the nut, I'd like to have some recess if possible, how long after kit release will the yellow wheels be available roughly?

I feel your pain...but keep in mind while the xray is a nice car........3-4 of my buddies run em.................they have plastic diff gears, and parts are ridiculously expensive!

By the time you buy the 2014 xray Xb4 - $439.99 @ Amain and then upgrade the diffs the D413 is a bargain....not to mention the center diff, tunable flex in the arms...and the option to do a couple of different battery layouts.

I'm getting stoked!

We have just heard back from A Main and they will be carrying the D413, they have them on order. Hobbico is the Distributor for HPI/HB in the US, they sell to hobby stores all over the US.

Thanks for your input Ty, I have a question that you'd be best suited to answer given your experience with the car, this question has been asked by a lot of guys on the thread and Torrence has touched on it but we'd like your thoughts.

If you were to run on a low grip slick indoor surface for example what would be the changes you make to the kit setup before you threw the car on the track?

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated by us guys on low grip tracks.

Cheers Justin

Haven't been here for a while and to my surprise this car is still not available. First it was November, then first quarter of the year. Wonder how much sales were lost from these false release dates. And only now it can be preordered for late April, but probably won't be out until mid to late May. Great job. The only thing good about hb is Ty Tessmann
