Losi XXX-S
No i dont think they do. They are a little to big in diameter. But the Associated springs do fit with the xxx-s. They are usually used to make a smaller change in spring rates, instead of jumping a 1.5 lbs, you can jump 1lb.
I have used the Associated springs before on my car, and I had no problem.
Hope this helps.

setup help please
Hi
Im trying to get the rear of my car to stick, I currently have Todd Hodge's setup from the snowbirds on the car, the only differences are 4 deg front carriers (6 deg are back ordered)and the tires. Ive tried speedmind hybrid fr with 35 rr and jaco purple/orange fr with orange rr (slightly better). My rx is on the steering servo with the esc in front of the motor (19t) surface is carpet, medium traction (fastcats in toronto). any pointers??? Has anyone run a milled chassis on carpet? Id like to do it but don't know if it will make the chassis too flexible..
thanks

outdrives
anybody know if the new lightweight losi outdrives (losa2936) fit the xxx-s, losi's webpage says they are for the gen2 transmission whatver that is
thanks
thanks
They are designed for the Generation 2 tranny which is the current offroad transmisions, they will not work for the XXX-S.
Still waiting for my cf XXX-S that will work with the new....
Lipo batteries.

Hey everybody,
I know the alloy CVD bones don't hold up too well in mod (elongated drive pins), but how about with a 19t? I am not a hacker, but I do occasionally tap a board so if they're easily bent, I might hold off. Just looking for a way to shed an ounce or two.
As far as alloy hardware (I have tons of alloy screws), think they'd hold up ok for the average Joe, or am I asking for trouble?
Also, anybody have a spare set of threaded shock bodies they're looking to get rid of?
Thanks

I have a pretty general question about gearing. I just picked up a Monster Stock to replace the P2K2 in my XXX-S. I am currently running a 24 T pinion (stock spur)with 59mm foams on a 100 x 50 ft carpet track. There really aren't any 'long' straights at the track. I am thinking that I am going to need a 26 or 27T pinion, but I am not sure where to start with it? Any ideas??

Hey Dennis,
When I had my XXX-S, I ran a 128T spur gear and for stock I ran a 34T pinion with tires that big. Most of the guys who run indoor carpet sedan run 64 pitch. You can get the spur gears in the Losi Blue plastic 128T or the kevlar spur in 128T.
For me that's a good staring point. Come down on Fridays for practice after 3:00pm for more help. Club races start at 7:00pm. Hope this helps.

So, by using your gear in 64P, it looks like 23 or 24 would still be a decent starting point (128/34 = 3.76 and 88/24 = 3.67). I might want to go up to 25 though since i do have larger tires on it (I just tured them down and want to use them for some more practice before I cut them smaller).
I'll be down there this friday since it is my day off. I might stick around and watch you all race, but I think I am going to sit out for a little while until I get good enough to not hack everyone off the track!!

Dennis, a 24 would be you best bet in terms of gearing, but you may have to go to a 25 due to lack of volatge in those 2400's.

LoL!!
I just picked up some 3800's. 1.197v @ 35 amp discharge. Should be fun. I'll have an even harder time keeping myself out of the walls with that!!
Make sure Benny places an order for some extra front arms!!
