However, given that you can now buy a XB replacement one easily and that the original one has holes drilled for the M01 and not the M03, I dont think I'd be in a great rush to buy it..

shock oil and springs
hi, what setup of shock oil and springs is best for parking lot racing. It has a fairly smooth straightaway but becomes rough in other parts of the course.
I'm running a M03M, silver can with:
Tamiya CVA super mini shocks, long spacer in the front and shorter ones in back.
Blue springs front and red springs back (on-road tuned hard spring set)
and AE 60 shock oil
or just a brief explanation of what i shoukd be using on different surfaces.
thanks

Miniman, do you have the internal spacer in the shocks? If so I'd take it out, rougher surfaces need the extra down-travel. But your spring and oil set-up is fine as is.
Set your ride height according to the specs on our website and you should be bang on the money.
Razorback, only the Concept One fits the Minis, the Beetle Cup Racer is 1/18th and 1/10th Touring Car

Not sure about the body mounts (I dont have a Swift shell to check) but I think the rears would be out slightly (too far forward by 15mm)
But the wheels should line up perfectly.
