Has anyone figured out how to stop all the bouncing. I built my kit per instructions exactly and I been racing with other guys and no bounce. This is supposed to be a spec kit but with all the bouncing it puts me at a disadvantage. I am a whole second slower with all the bouncing.

*opens can of worms*
Is that the black tubing that comes on the motor shaft in packing? Technically, it's in the box, but is it in the instructions to insert the tube into the front shocks?
Driving hours to the Jackson TCS race. I want to know exactly what is legal for that race. I can now see these trucks being torn down to the screw in tech... My truck and I are totally ready for tech. Mine is box stock with grease...
Now, the body - reducing the flex of the cab helps the bounce. I have used shoo goo and nylon screws on the body. Legal???

..bounce,
I was able to reduce bounce to very minimal by:
1) changing my driving style
2) sanding the inside of the front shocks and outside (so everything is nice and smooth)
3) making sure the entire front suspension assembly is on the looser side, that is loosen all the screws a tad ...nothing should be snug/tight up front.
4) adding weight to the chassis
5) securing the cab of the body so it doesn't flex so much
....
this is what I did, and works like a charm, I have like 2% bounce now.
Driving style is huge, ...accelerate, then brake on hard turns and coast on long sweeping turns. ..don't throttle it through the turn, only on the turn exit.

How much weight?
Hello,
For those of you adding weights to the chassis, how much weight do you add?
Thanks for the help =)

Try using the weights in various places to suit your needs.
For me:
-about 30grams or so on the battery strap (middle of chassis) ..some put it under the chassis in that cut out area (...actually I have been meaning to move my center weight from the battery to under for even lower center of gravity).
-about 20 grams on rear (at the rear bumper area).
-about 20 grams up front
...but I have moved the weight around a lot ...this seems to be my ideal.

Now... how to remove the black marks from track gunk.
