I thought people have said the b5 has been a good build with no real issues other than tight ball cups, but people have said it drives fine with the ball cups

Also people have said there still faster with there B4.2 than there B5
So maybe the t4.2 may still be the winner lol

Just don't be 100% sure that you will be racing on the weekend if you get your kit a few days earlier. I recently bought two AE kits (B5M and RC10 Worlds re-release), and they both had defective parts not allowing me to finish the build.

My previous AE kit (RC8Te) from 4+ years ago also had a defective part. Customer service has been pretty good with getting me the right parts but I am waiting for 2 weeks on my RC10 Worlds parts and it still has not arrived... I've decided to run it with the f-ed up transmission.

For some people maybe. but most people I know that went to the B5/B5M have been ways faster and more consistently fast! That's the key, theres no comparison the B5/B5M are way better!

I would assume the truck will be the same. Hence a LOT of T4.2's will suddenly become available soon!

It's the same with any kit though! This is what happened when I built a 22T!
Something missing here?

No issues with my Tamiya, Mugen, Kyosho, and X-Ray kits. I've had one off issues from other manufacturers but AE wins the medal for most issues.

I'm just really, really happy with the way my B5M handles, so all is forgiven.....maybe will add a T5M in the future too.

My luck with AE kits has been very good. Built a T3, 3 T4's, the B4.2, the B5, the World's Car and just started a B5M. I did have some minor issues with the T3 years ago, and my Worlds Car had the transmission binding problem - but aside from that my kits have been very good and built up well.

I just built up the B5R for Christmas, and it was by far the easiest, best building experience I have had with RC. I was psyched to see that the T5M is finally official, especially after I saw Cav testing it last Saturday at OCRC.

Now to get the last few runs out of my Losi XXXT-CR and retire it

I know this is the wrong place but my brother is bringing over his rc10 worlds right now to ask me about transmission issue
So hoping for a quick reply is the transmission problem only the top shaft? Or is there something else to look at

Also going to build my B5 on over the next 4 days at holiday unit so can u give me heads up with known issues other than ball cups

Again sorry for posting it here but given last comments here I hope I get quick reply rather than trolling through 100s a pages

Lol
Yes what was your issue, if missing part it's obvious but more about build issue lookout points

I just got B5 R , so I think I will get the T5M just to see what it's like
Never had a mid before

I hope they keep making T4.2 parts if there is no T5 RM.

Yes I was asking you what is the issue with your brothers gearbox?
As far as your build, tight ball cups will the the #1 issue, everybody has had to deal with that, see the 1st post on either B5/B5M threads to alleviate that issue!

Sorry mate
My brother is saying his tramission feels tight. But I don't think he has even put the motor on yet this might sound silly but I don't think he has even put the top shaft in either

I can't see why they would not, they still have their rtr line based on the B/T4 platform. JConcepts parts for the old series of cars and trucks are on sale, so if you want any of them it might be good to buy them now...
