I wanted to thank Novarossi for the great motors. I have been running these motors now for about 1 year and they have been awesome. My sedan has never been so fast. The power on in the infield has been great. Once again my 353 has powered me to another TQ and win. This time taking the victory in the 4th round of the Florida State Series.

Thanks again Novarossi,

DJ Apolaro

Congrats on your TQ and W....
I have to break in my 353 fully then will be testing for best pipe for the local track then test a few pipes at 301.

Thanks and no I have not tried the 3501. I use the 2630 most of the time. If there is a problem with milage than I use the the 2601. If I run 25% than I mainly use the 2601 with a 7f plug and the proper shimming.

Hope this helps,

Make sure it is shimmed for the fuel %you are going to use.

hi apolaro,
i have just seen your message weirdly

the piston locks at the TDC with the glowplug. i can hear some little"blug blugs" like coming from tiny air bubbles. it is tigther than my 2 race old JLR evo3.
im going to use it with %16 fuel and im pretty sure the man who i bought the engine from used with %16 fuel

should i breakin the engine assuming that it is completely new?i use WOT method for breaking in engines

thanks for the reply

Start with 5 tanks WOT on the box. Then with a soft clutch go another 5 tanks on the track. It most likely will not shift being so rich. On these 5 tanks you can lean it a little each time. Make sure to let cool down between tanks. After this rebuild the clutch and reclean the 2speed. Then put it back and start race tuning the motor.

Good luck,

hey, sorry to sound nubbish but what is the WOT method, im guessing WOT stands for Wide Open Throttle.

I would stay away from the WOT method

I found running them in nice and slow for the first 2 litres with a rich tune around the track works best, heat cycling the first 3 tanks. and not over revving them
