I use the spec-r, I had bad luck with the u-pro's myself. Up front with 500k oil it leaks very little, and I think that is usually just excess oil working its way out, they seem to work best when you can cram as much oil as it will fit.

the mira outdrives will accommodate either the 52 or 50 mm xray ecs I would recommend the 50 mm .. For the spec r fans you can also use the t3 ecs with the mira outdrives... which allows for the xray blade to be used

I have to say i have been running the ecs shafts by spec-r and havnt had any issues. I am running the xray pins. And 6deg blocks. I did break one ecs bone but it was a hard hit . And i have beat the crap out of my car oover the past 4 races. New layouts at 3 diff tracks. Lol im very pleased with them

Thanks for your help guys. I want to be able try the gear diff, where can I find all of them? I know where to get the Spec- R gear diff, but not the others. Would the Yokomo gear diff be a direct fit?

You can get the uPro diff from TOPusa. The yokomo diff will have to come from japan most likely. Although driftspeed.com is showing them, but have been out of stock for awhile...

It will need some shimming, and you will need either bd5 blades, or tc5 blades.

I just put a gear diff in the rear of my car, I run 17.5 non boosted. I filled the diff with Associated 2,000cst gear lube. I know the cst rated oil is diffrent from the others that go by weight, so my question would be is this oil to light should I run something heavier? I also want to run a gear diff up front also what is a good starting point. I've seen some post that they run as high as 200,000wt.

Depends on which diff you are running, the spec-r has 4 spider gears and you use lighter oil than the upro with 2 spider gears. Up front 500k is the way to go.

My gear diffs and repair parts showed up today, the U-Pro really is a marvel in how tiny and light it is, 'very' notchy out of the packet though, how many runs do they usually take to smooth out if you just fit and go?.

I may just use mine as is for a few runs, I'm curious to see how they work out of the pack, before I go putting the 10k and 100k I also bought to tune mine with, likely if they still feel rough I'll toothpaste them also.

If you can't tell from the pic, club is trying with 10.5T with Zero timing right now, with added novelty of foams for a few reason on outdoor ashpult, could be interesting finding setups to suit it.

One thing I though worth mentioning, with the repair parts I got, new spur pulley came with end caps pre-glued, and they fit my spur with no mods, updated bits maybe?, likewise new rear belt seems to have a different surface on it.
