Capricorn LAB C03 1/10th scale 200mm chassis
Following the introduction of their latest 1/8th scale chassis Italian company Capricorn now also have first information on their forthcoming new 1/10th scale 200mm car available. The LAB C03 is an evolution of its predecessor, the C02, with the transmission has seen a bit of a make-over to become easier to work on. Several redesigned areas reduce the overall number of parts for improved reliability and reduced maintenance time. Also new on the drivetrain are redesigned tensioners for all three belts and the ability to run high or low front and rear axles. A redesigned chassis makes for improved weight distribution and constant flex control for more steering and traction. Another new chassis part is the completely redesigned radio plate which uses a traditional position for the throttle servo and a floating, ball-raced front mount for the FSS front flex system. Other new features include new shocks, a redesigned engine mount and alternative link position for the rear upper links providing better traction in low grip conditions.

hay DJ,
Good luck at the Nats...
Also, could you maybe give us a good initial setup for this car. Reno was saying you guys tried the exact same setup from the C02 and the car was different. Im going to start out with my C02 setup and go from there but any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Hello, the setup is different for some reasons:
The 1 piece ARB is harder than the 3 piece ARB
The car has different flex characteristics from chassis and from the new front flex System and new Bulkheads
The car has a lower COG and slightly other geometry
Im very happy with the car and its quality
We share all our setups on our facebook-page:

Where can I order one of these cars? I'm thinking of switching before the start of next season.

Hi guys,
I had a couple of racers ask me for the set up I used at the Nationals for the new car. The traction was high. My car was good in the final, even with bigger tires. Here is a set-up and if I missed anything just ask.
