TEMECULA OFFROAD RACING

Sorry folks - not the best video - but it will give those who haven't made it to the track some idea of how they are running.

It was a blast - Too bad I won't be able to make it out this weekend. Maybe someone else can get some better video. Speaking of which - I don't know what I was thinking when I posted that video - The race was actually the sportsman buggy second qualifier. It couldn't be the a-main because I was IN the a-main

Great racing again Saturday night! It was good to see all of you guys out having fun and holding down your e-z ups! I think Dan will have the results up tomorrow. Next weeks racing to have a special new feature at ARC...............LONGER MAINS!!!!!!!!!! Let me know if there is anything else that you would like to see at the track so I can relay it back to Dan. Thanks again to all that showed up to burn some nitro!

I had a great time also. Glad to have a great track so close by now. The electric car turn-outs are a little thin. Seem's like there are more of them around and what have been posted over the last couple months, I thought there would be more out there. Seem's like they are unsure of going or something. Just ponderering.

Tires for buggy have been hit or miss for me revrace.Crimefighter m3 have been the best for me on average.when the tracks dry I like the way bowties slide at just the right time also m3.when the track is wet I run better with the CF simply because they clean out better.I thought I had the best of both worlds the first weekend with bowfighters as they didnt water before either of my heats & I did progressivly better in both my heats.when the mains came they watered right before & those bowfighters did really good doughnuts late night mains & watering dont mix well for me.So crimefighters was my default for now as they work great wet & above average dry.I was given some Panther boas soft compound & ran all day sunday trying to tune my chassis & now those are my favorite, their hooked in bone dry & even grip in the mud puddles & do not turn into mud slicks.I'm about average sportsman speed but if your as fast as cornerspeed bowties may stay clean for you, just not my slow but.Either way tires last longer here than they do at rev so the softest they make still gives good life span.
BTW HAVO I got that mugen back to handling propperly sunday so its on buddy,I may even try getting the RC8 rollin again

Don, Im hoping to have the tracks on my tractor replaced in the next week, and then I will get out there and get a new layout in, and process the dirt like we did at the old ARC. I think we need it a little more sportsman friendly. It sure has been fun though. Mike D
