I would also like a 3mm thick LiPo chassis. Reducing width isnt as important to me, as i am not fond of my electronics being so vulnerable as it is.
I actually wish someone would incorporate some LW molded composite side guards on a TC... kinda like what you would find on an offroad nitro car. Something cheap and easy to replace.... unlike my motor, sensor wire, or speedo.

i just had a weekend worth of awesome racin in nashville tn.
ran my photons in vta(21.5 version) and 17.5 spec.
i had some good runs early on (4heats)
my 1st round runs in both classes held my up near the front of tc behind robert dirla and eric anderson and one more ( he got his car workin a touch better in his 4th run. i had some sweeper issues and let me tell ya i had some HARD hits around the sweeper and in 5 rounds of racin my car hit and bashed its way thru that sweeper probably 10 times. ( narrow sweet spot entering sweeper, strait is a bit bumpy) but not wonce did i have to turn one wrench!
tweek/ droop( small adj) / height/ repair/ gearing perfect all weekend.
ended up in the back of the a main ( lost my 1oz wait in front bumper and it made it bad loose.
in vta i set tq in first round and it held till round 4 when i was out done by 1 sec! same issues sweeper sweety spot got me , but not in the main. i had it by far had the better car setup. it was BUTTER. had 1 bed sweeper tumble
10' of the track late in main and lost my big lead. still won but only by 1.7sec!
awesome cars

Well Stilskin didnt post it but he got second in our A main this last weekend and Photons took 1,2,3 in our B main. It was good racing and with alittle more time, I should be up there in the Amain rubbing venders with the big boys.

I'm getting back into the hobby and I have placed an order for the TOP car. Can't wait to get my hands on it. I have a question for those of you using the M11x; how much space does the airtronics receiver take up. I'm trying to decided between the M11x and the KO Euros radio.

Its the one that came with my M11 when I bought it from Amain this last summer. 2.4 ghz but I have the module plugged into the side of my TX,where as I don't believe you have to with the 11x.

I was going to replace the chassis, shocks, a few other bits and get a new ball diff for my old v1 photon, but I decided to just get a whole new kit, because it wasn't much more than buying those few parts separately and that way I have a second full car. I don't think the new screws are included if you just buy a new top deck as a standalone part. You would need to pick up 2 packs of the new screws to replace all of them.
