Rookie solara-
I came in second at the last Tinley park big race with this
front
40 shore tire
35 wt #5
2nd hole in on tower

outside hole on arm (you can run this if you run steering arm as bleow)

Losi black? 25 lb spring
6* caster
camber link on inside hole
3mm spacers under ball end
1* camber
black sway bar
forward hole on steering arm
1.5 or 2mm spacer on susp. mounts
you may want to run .5mm kick up
1.0 toe block
0* toe at wheels

rear

37 shore tire
35 wt #3
all the way out on tower
middle hole on arm
1* camber
camber link on inside hole at chassis
inside hole on hub
3mm spacer under ball end
susp. mount flat on chassis
again, you may want to add a small amount of anit squat
no rear swaybar
hubs all the way back

2 diffs
ran the center post (you may want to try to run w/o it)
102 spur33 or 34 pinion w/ 9 turn epic
tires around 59 mm

you may want to try the rear camber link out on the hub

raising and lowering the camber link is a good fine tuning adjustment

I think KevinK ran very similar to this, he gave me a lot of advice and help. Big ups to Kevin! i'm sure he can correct me if I'm wrong

This is for med traction asphalt (sprayed parking lot) Hope it helps

thanks Rob.....your car was very good aswell last time out. I just wish I would have had parts to fix mine that weekend. What Springs were you running in the rear Losi Purples maybe?

For Gearing I ran 36t with the 96 spur with an 8 turn Epic.

Also, does anyone know what those purple bits are on his steering knuckles?
Does anyone know how Hara attached the washers to limit the travel on the steering?

Just makes the track width slightly less. I don't use the spacers due to using the slightly bigger hex hubs which means you don't have to use the spacers.

I used the spool on an outdoor asphalt track last night in my test and it was definitely the fastest option I tried ... and I tried a one-way and a diff and my times were better with the spool and the car easier to drive.
