I have an older F103: the Sauber C12 model. It has the same FRP chassis as you posted. It still runs well and can still turn in good lap times (as long as the foams are in good shape) For $50 - I'd hit it.

Thanks a lot guys for the replies ! I will definetely buy it , the only problem is the owner isn't answering , I'll try tomorrow ...

Is the shock in the middle a friction shock or oil ? They seem approx. the same size as TC shocks ? Also , is it theoretically possible to mount TC tires/foams on it ?

Hey guys,

i just picked up my f103 today and i was curious to how you guy mount the brush-less system?

I found that the cabling is difficult from the motor to the where the middle of the f1 car. ALSO how do you guys get the rounded lipo pack that has the power cables form the top like the classic batteries not to rub on the shell?

Thanks.

The .04 ones are easy to find on eBay, but you can safely use 64pitch pinions. The difference is so tiny as to be insignificant. The AV ones are .06 pitch and are incompatible with other sizes.

The wings look like they are from the Ligier Mugen Honda JS41 body set. The box art looks like this http://vintage-tamiyaparts.com/CMS/i...ugen_honda.JPG and the completed body looks like this. http://tamiyaclub.com/showroom_model...d=53371&id=195

Why not make it like the Ligier JS41??
Or the Benneton B195?

The body is the Ligier JS41 and or the Benneton B195.
Tamiya didn't put the decals in the box as it is a trademark issue.

regards Roy
