bnam could you possible mill the battery tray for less weight kit chassis is 105g and how thick?
bman thats right on what i wanted to hear unfortunately i had to pay in on my taxes so my rc fund is gone for now ,, but your doing things right once i got the fund back ill be interested
They will be made from 7075-T6 aluminum. CNC and hard coated. Weight is 95 grams. What other info would you like? I know some other chassis are made from 6061 which has less tensile strength and is cheaper to buy. As for the flex that is purely preference. Thanks guys for inquiring!
I'm trying this somewhat "inline" setup with my son's buggy. Here's what it looks like right now. I'm just hoping it doesn't take too much away from the rear bite. Moving from the rear to the front is the receiver, esc, battery, and finally the servo. The battery has about a total of 5mm to play with front or rear. I couldn't get the ESC under the rear body post mount so I put the receiver there. I also need to attach his transponder to the opposite side of the capacitors to get a little better balance.

Cant wait! Been wanting a +8 alum chassis for a while, and yours being stiffer is preferred for my clay track
