If you had 0.7mm shaft play, how much of that would you shim? Do we need to leave some amount of play for when the motor heats up and things start to expand?

I have had 0.7mm of shaft in/out play since day one on my 1700 buggy motor. I doubt you have more than 1.0mm.

Randy, which shim dia. do you recommend? 5x7, 5x8 or 5x10?
