I have used one of these, but not in a mugen yet. They take time to get used to and do slow you down a little until you do. They make the car react faster between on and off power parts of your turn....

That thing is pretty cool. Try running some lighter wheels and tires. Try the Sweep six-pack wheels and their tires, should save you at least 50g. The brand you are running now is pretty heavy.
