In my opinion the updated part is the best one so far (the one with the extra screw in the middle connecting the front chassis to the top plate). Far better than the stock, CF or kevlar versions.

Did you have to cut/grind the batterytray wall any lower? I had a SP GT2.0 Pro on mine and I had to cut it about 1mm lower for the connectors not to touch the chassis...

Or maybe you use thicker...

As far as I know the Hobbywing is almost identical to Speed Passion GT2.x. The cable connectors will touch the chassis on the battery tray (at least mine did), but not the battery (it is very close)....
