Default Different Lipo's

I currently have a 20c 4000MAH 3s Lipo battery. I have a proboat impulse and requires 2 lipos. Do I have to get the exact same battery to run or will I be ok with say a 25C?

You really should run 2 of the same batteries.

No. Battery specs must match at the very least. I will not run batteries together that are not same brand and same # of cycles, as well as same exact specs.

You need 2s batteries anyway, the higher c the better, 4000 mah will get you 3-4 min runtime tops.

I already have 2x2s Dynamite 30C 6000MAH Batteries.

I have a Venom 3s 20 4000MAH battery at home I use for my truck. I want to get another battery to see the difference on the boat. 3-4 min run time is no big deal, I'm trying to get speed runs accomplished anyway.

I've ran 2 different batteries in the past for quick speed runs, everything is done at your own risk.

Thanks. Nice vid. That's a nice area you have to run in.

Being in Orlando, I have a plethora of lakes to choose from. That video right there is running on 4s.

From the research I've been doing 5s may be ok with a bec but no guarantees.

I'm confused at how I could even run 5S since the ESC already has parallel connectors.

To run 5s you will need to make a jumper out of a dean's by soldering a piece of wire across the posts on the back. Then get a 5s battery.
