Funny, if they can copy. They should start their own brand. Is this the fake one is make by HW too? So they can cover the lowest end market too???

Default Any suggestions?

Just to share and at the same time need opinions and suggestions from anybody. I am using a LRP x12 10.5 T stock spec motor and here are the settings:

FW: stock 119
1: 1
Drag Brake : 15%
Voltage Prot: 3.2 V/Cell
DRRS Punch : 6
Brake Force : 100%
REverse Force : 25%
Initial Brake : 0%
Neutral Range: 6%
Boost Timing : 33
Turbo Slope : 18
Turbo Timing : 24
Start RPM : 5000
Turbo Delay : 0.3 s
Timing ACC : 550

FDR : 7.2
Temp motor: 89 C
Surround Temp: 37 C (Varies)

Track has approximately 45 m long straight with technical infield with two sweepers (can also watch the video : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=03Ls29mv4hA to get an idea of the track).

Outcome from this setting: Still haven't get the right kick from the speedo esp in the straight without gaining heat on the motor. Any opinions are kindly appreciated. Thanks.

With the X12, you should really try the 101224_STOCK Firmware.

Drag Brake : 0%
Voltage Prot: 3.2 V/Cell
DRRS Punch : 3
Brake Force : 100%
REverse Force : 100%
Initial Brake : 0%
Neutral Range: 6%
Boost Timing : 18
Turbo Slope : 1.5
Turbo Timing : 6
Start RPM : 5000
Turbo Delay : 0.4 s
Timing ACC : 600 (or 450 if outside temp goes down)
Roll-out 45mm, (don't know how to convert this to FDR.)

This is the setting I use with my Pro 10, TC is a bit heavier, and has more drag, but I think it's a good startingpoint.
Don't forget, always use the 4 dots timing insert in the motor.

I´m using HobbyWing 17.5T motor, and it doesn´t have the end bell timing to play with..

I tried those ratios and ESC timing as well (0 - 55). The temp still up high.

Any suggestions?

Does anyone know which is the default timing of this motor?

Thanks

thanks for the reply... I used the 4 dots timing insert in the motor yet the temp is still higher.

Sorry but what is the difference in using 119 stock and the 224 stock FW? dont quite get it yet...
Thanks

they seem to have the same settings, but the 224 and the X12 is a very nice combination!
224 was the first of the new generation of firmwares, and was never released officially, but it rocks with an X12!
The difference, just try it.....
With 1S lipo in 12th scale the difference is incredible, with 2S it is less, but you will have less motor heat and more punch and speed.

It is what the thread was set up for

I know it's a bit naughty to do it here but wanted to let you all know that we are now importing the entire Eagle Racing line of Hop ups and Electronics including the Awesome Eagle Racing 6000 65C+ LiPo's which we will be entering for BRCA in the next round in September, we are in the process of having the 8.5 to 5.5 XERUN Modified Motors BRCA Approved as we speak. As you all know the Blue 13.5T is already on the BRCA Approved list. If there is a demand we will put the 10.5 and the 4.5/3.5 through as well.

Am I being unreasonable in asking for a 20% restock fee to exchange a motor someone bought in error, but the unit has been opened? Feedback anyone??
