The over heat protection should shut down the esc if either the motor or the esc is approaching overtemps. the motor protection only works for sensored motors

guys what is the deal with all this talk about prices?

Other brands like the sp cirtix is 60$ in the US and we have to pay 70-75euro's here in europe in the shop. The reason why many buy it during the ETS for 50 euro's. It is the same for other brands.

Unfortunately there is a "bug" in the program of V3, in the firmware V1.0_120303_beta, the 13.5 stock profile the motor does not work when you set the default functions

I hope that in the final program this problem is eliminated

Quick question to the developers:

What is the difference in performance between these 2 setup, assuming the Boost Ramp & Turbo Acceleration has the same incremental curve of timing increase/rpm?

1. Boost: 40, Turbo: 10
2. Boost: 30, Turbo: 20

I hope its not a stupid question. I have to ask coz time is a luxury for me & I normally only have 2 hours of practice/setup time before a race so I try to have everything figured out in my mind to minimize errors. Thanks.

Depending on the software, the new one only applies turbo when all the boost has been applied. So the one with lower boost will be easier to drive.

Yes the new one. So theoretically both setup will not add anymore than 50 degrees/units of timing correct? Wouldn't setting it up with 50 degrees boost only (rpm dependent timing increase) make it easier to drive and have the same top speed as 40 boost, 10 turbo? As turbo will keep adding timing regardless of rpm right?

I would say that is correct. But this is all in theory.
