Guys just a quick question about the limits of the dynamic timing on the software. Someone said to me the other day that you can only go to 60 degrees of total timing. Does this mean that if you set both boost and turbo to 40 each (total of 80 degrees) you will only get 60 degrees of actual timing from the speedy? Or will you get the full 80 degrees and blow your motor?

My understanding is that the 211 software is capped at a total of 64 "steps". In your example 40+40 would max out at 64. Turbo doesn't start until all boost has been applied and the turbo delay has elapsed under full throttle. I don't think anyone has definitively tabled a quantitative relationship between "steps" and degrees.

however, I hope the following makes sense.
in version 119, turbo could be operated before full boost has been used up.
in 211, all steps of boost had to be used up, and then only turbo is applied.

hmmm for some reason at this time, I'm having a hard time understanding that sentence

I think you have misunderstood a little
with 211, using all the boost, turbo will come in to whatever delay you have selected
for example, you use up all your boost in 2secs. Your turbo will come in to whatever value you have selected. So if you have selected delay at 1.5sec, your turbo will come in at the 3.5 sec from a standing start.

The new system is pretty good however control of.when and where timing is applied is not as good as the r10 I am using (in most ways) however runs lower temps for better power. Its still better than the SP stock software my brother is playing with which is acting sooooo retarded. At least now I know why.
