everyone - we've been running and re-running the # but we simply cannot pull off this race without 9 teams. unless we magically get 2 more teams to sign up today the race is cancelled.

Big thanks to Mike and Barry for helping in setting this up.
Alot of work,time, and resources went into, to try and make this happen.
Finding a car,
Tire testing,
Rules,
Etc...

If this was ever going to happen again, this was its best chance.this is how we feel.
Alot of guys thought it was a great idea, but didnt want to do it, for what ever reason.
Again,Sorry, but I feel we did our best.

ok so now you have 8. The 24 has set off with 8 cars before. Would you like me to pay for the 9th car so everyone gets to race. i am free that weekend so i'd like to come out i just cant afford to pay for everything involved. i asked a couple teams but got no/no response.

if buyin the 9th car means this happens. u have the $ by dinner-ish. i'm not joking around. this event makes RC fun again, and so should be.

PS- if its a 'bridge' to put water under, i'll put out my hand on my end. The way i see it, i feel i'm returning a debt or sorts. You recall you paid an entry and then didn't get to race (2011). I'll go a bit further and say that perhaps i never did forget that high speed motor fan you gave us in 2010 when we were down on our luck. Let these boys race.

I wonder how many would-be first timers would show up to race the 9th car? It could be a team of people just "trying it out". I laugh because they'll get sucked in and before they realize what happened it will be 2pm on Sunday and their wives will have the State Police out looking for them.
