Ok just trying to see who actually has the target on thier back going into the NWCC.Aaron and Juan lost this last weekend.Clint won.Anyone have results from last saturday for 19 sedan? Results usually tell the whole story. I see Fred is as much of a talker as you are Clint! Should be a fun time.

Bl offers ease of maintencce so we don't have to spend time making old technology fast or stay fast.

Comparo: motor after 5 runs
bl still 99.9%
brushed @ 75%-80%
Cost race weekend at carpet champs
BL - system including sintered rotor = $ 280.00 still @ 99.9% good for next 20 races
Brushed - 2 motors $40 plus 10 sets of brushes @ $5.00 = $130.00
motors essentially finished and relegated to practice club status and are at 80% of original ( Brushed arms need to be made cut extremely small to start with to be fast) (Next big race buy new stuff start over)
Support equipment required
BL - none
Brushed - Comm Lathe, Hood alignment tool, Mag zapper, brush cutter.
Just factoring Ease of use and cost to run BL wins hands down.
Power.. yeah certain apps brushed is faster certain apps bl is faster basically its a wash.

Some of you who insist that old skool brushed should only be allow want it that way because you know how to tune a brushed motor most of us don't or do not care to learn. (your agenda is transparent)

BL will enable more racers to have a chance to compete or feel that they have a better opportunity with the motor building black art taken out of the equation. Which should bring back more racers and help grow the sport.

I for one will only run BL and if the track does not allow it I will race elsewhere.

By not having to deal with motors a racer can spend more time on setup, driving practice etc.

Let's face is the brushed motor is a dinosaur and will eventually be phased out. just like current batt technology (another discussion). I can see the last vestige for the brushed motor may be at major events but at the club level.. brushed is basically on its last leg.

Targets are only for haters. We all believe in love and peace now-a-days We would love for all of us to come across then line at the same time and have a four way tie for the overall win. Catch ya'll in about two weeks

You're right...It was faster LAPS that I ran faster then you...CONSISTENTLY all day..you were playing catch up the entire time. But like I said before IFMAR qualifying rewards the faster/better driver and heads up qualifying rewards those that aren't...MR. TQ. Defer to my tag line...
