I'm a big Audi fan. Used to have an A4. BTW, I have seen your S4, and it's nice.
However, the LMP1 Audi is now diesel, and all accounts say that it is very quiet. The engines in those Panos (V10 Judd, i believe) made a glorious earsplitting sound. Think early Shelby Cobra times 10.
I agree with you, I hope Audi and Peugeot are at the proposed race in Baltimore. Get your Pit Pass and bring your camera.
I can't do the volunteer Marshal thing, as my wife will be coming wit me.

For the D.C. ALMS race, Pit/Paddock access was part of the ticket price. I think that there were tickets that had Pit access and tickets that did not. Also, there were tickets for the event, and tickets for practice & the event as I recall.
Yeah, I think that some of the European teams skip many of the ALMS events. I hope that's not the case for the Baltimore race.

Well, what can I say... Another great night of racing and friendship. Thanks to all who came out.
Bill Jacobs, with his triumphant return to the Coliseum, takes the SCT win from Josh(2), Sean(3), and Sam(4). Will he spread the love to the 17.5 spec class... Time will tell. All we an say now is--please don't!! LOL
In all seriousness though, Bill did enjoy carrying Josh's truck on its lid down the straight and catapulting it into the wall for the final nail in the coffin. - not really, but 'it did happen'.
Young Sam Newcomer upgrades his truck to 17.5 and realizes that it may not be as fast as that old stock motor. This good looking, dynamic, reporter overhears in the Newcomer pit that he may be upgrading his lackluster servo soon. Will this be what it takes to bring Sam back onto the podium?? - WE WILL SEE...!!
Meanwhile, while the SCT guys are all debating what is legal, Ray K takes the win AGAIN in 17.5 Spec class - a new and growing class the the C. His love for Tamiya waning, he embraces the Xray. What a great clean race in the A main, Kudos!!!
Gene White smokes his motor (and shows up). Bobby needs a diff in his shafty. Tarik disintegrates his transmission under Vilenion power. Troy is on his setup station. Ray K forgets his power cord. Shaun and John run SCT. I win the B. Bill Jacobs has a rediculous fan. WOW!! what a Gladiator Thursday!!
See you all next week for some more mayhem and fun

As expected, I had a great time at the 'C' last night. Ran the SCT class for the very first time and I'm hooked!! I'll be making some setup changes to put up a better fight next time. I look forward to mixing it up with the SCT crew next week.
Also, let's not forget about the Fall point series kicking off this Saturday. I'm in for Senior Spec only as my parts for the 416x haven't arrived yet. I'll also bring the 2wd mini in case anyone is interested in running that class tomorrow.
