Actually, the Coliseum has alot of competition. Besides, real men race on asphalt. Carpet is for walkin' on.

Hey this might be the first thing you have said in a long time I agree with

Are you guys talking about running 1/10th sedans on 4 cells? I have a 1/12th yok sedan that is designed to run on 4 cells and X ray makes one too. They are a blast to run. I ran my yok when I came up the week before Thanksgiving. It had a Monster stock and it did pretty good. I would love to see a class of these and if you think the are slow you might want to reconsider, they can be extremely fast. I'm going to try and get back up there on the 9th. I'll bring it with me just to run when I can.

12th sedans were never really popular to begin with accept on the west coast back in the late 90's thast where I first saw them.It would be nice to run a class of these though. If I can make it saturday I'll bring my yok too.

I was almost totally for the idea,(4 cell) until I read that now within two years everything will be going brushless. WTF? If that happens, looks like I see a rtr gas truck in my future for 2008.

Brushless will never completely takeover. I have yet to see a brushless system run with a cobalt in stock, I dont even think they make one equal to a fixed 19T and at Vegas all 10 cars in both mod foam and mod rubber A-mains were brushed motors. Brushed Motors are simply faster.

All I can say about this is it will be the cheapest racing you have ever done....especially if you run dirt oval. I don't like it near as much as racing touring cars but if I have to I will just go back to it.
