This is where I go for pictures:

I think it will also help with all this back and forward about "CORRECT" TA trim

great job on all the paint jobs Ive seen....Ive stolen them and posted them in my TA pics for 2008..lol....except Dirlas...I have to see his all the time anyway...dont think I could stand to view it on my computer too....lol

that is actually a great ideal Myron. I hate the way a thread becomes a 'forum' around here w/ 100's of pages to read through. A true TA forum may be needed at this time, then we could have smaller, more specific discussions...threads that are not 100 pages deep.

Damn I love C.A.K.E.

That is a great one, thank you for this. Now I can look at specific cars instead of wading through hundreds of pics.

Here's a picture of a vintage Mustang that I saw at the local business airport today.

We don`t have VTA in Norway but we try to fire up a retro class.
This is my Retro racing Opel kadett B

Cars like that would be nice to see being run and painted by some of those VTA guys.

Check out this sick ride from ABChobby:

Angry window tint

Okay, somebody should have warned me about Pactra window tint. I finished painting my Camero body and decided to tint the windows. Seen a couple of paint jobs in this thread and thought it would look good. Go to my LHS and pick up a can of Pactra (thats all they had). Sprayed it on, not too heavy, I know its tint. Sit the car down for a couple of hours to dry, went on to do other things.
Came back to check on the car, noticed what looked like finger prints on the outside, on the protective film. Peeled it back at those spots and AAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHH HHH!!!!!!!!!!! The tint had bleed through the original paint, plus it had some small runs on the drivers window!!!!AAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHH !!!!!!! CRAP, CRAP, CRAP!!!! $50 down the drain (body + paint). Oh well, I'll still be out at Leisure Hours Raceway this Sunday, the 13th, weather permitting. I'll be the guy with the red and silver Camaro, and a pissed-off look on my face. Live and learn.

Nice work Dodgeboy.
What sort of tape/mask are you using for the bumpers?
I can't seem to tape them off without any bleed through.

I use the Tamiya masking tape , and if you have bleed threw you can use a wooden dowel and sharpen it to a point and rub the extra paint off sometimes.
