Finally have a finished product i never put so much time into such a simple job
Turns out the first time i used backing paint and after 1 day of racing i went home with 97% of the white missing . Well i did my best to fix it pretty happy considering wht its been through. Also color coded wheels with sharpie

Since you say you lost a bunch of paint, I hope you didn't make the same mistake I did- used enamel instead of lacquer?

First T/A Paint
Saw a VTA race a few weeks ago. Had to have one. Chassis is TC3. Paint is Faskolor Faspearl Blue, Faspearl Silver and Fasorange. Stickers are from CSeils -- he's somewhere on this board.
Got some good ideas at historictransam - dot-com -- they have a good list of currently running historic T/A cars in period livery. Lots of photos. I wanted to have something unique, yet still in the spirit of the old T/A paint schemes.
Will begin to scuff it next weekend.
