any one here tried the D21T ?

I have a d12x 5+2 on the way and was wondering if the recommended breakin for that engine is the same as the d5r.. I couldnt find a manual to download for this particular engine.
the reason I'm asking is because it seems like I read somewhere in this thread that the materials used were a little softer..

try this 21/28 manual

other than this...just follow the normal STS break-in style.

Just follow the manual. It is the safest way.
Please remember some important keys;
1) Don't let it overheat during break-in(Not lean it too much the first gallon)...
2) Break-in at working temp....
3) Don't keeping at max rpm more than 1 sec when break-in...
4) Don't break-in engine at racing track especially there are many cars running on the track.....it is dangerous
5) Use hot plug,it is good for rich setting

All STS engines are shimmed for break-in process,after break-in you can remove some shims for better performance...

STS does not have in mind producing some .18 engine for the Production Monster Class ? ... i've been racing with STS (AFM) for a year, and now im entering the monster class and would like to see an STS on my Tamiya TNX PRO ... (im thinking buying a truggy in some point of 2006, and it will have a .28 STS powerplant).

Thanks for your support, first.
Sorry we don't have the plan to produce .18. The .18 is a over-sized .12 engine but still using the same bearing;parts...A standard .21 is more lasting than a .18. Also the .21 has more power than .18. So I would suggest you to consider a big block engine conversion kit and choice .21 directly.

Hi all,

I'll join this club with my brand new STS D3 EFRA engine.
I installed him on my Ofna CD3 with an RB1751 muffler .

I started him yesterday an it looks an sounds pretty good.
I polished my crankshaft and my backplate
