The Murnan RBM5X modified has anyone ran this yet. considering this engine for my TTE truggy and wanted some input. I have not ran a RB in such a long time and dont see allot of people running them anymore. My last RB was a C6 and she was my baby. loved that engine and power band.

We have not owned one but murnan loaned us his at the psycho nitro blast last year and that is one bad ass engine. I have seen many of them at races and they seem to be really really fast. You can't go wrong with anything from murnan

I ran the Murnan RBM5x with 9901/41021 and 8mm carb insert this past weekend at SIC in my truggy. Qualified 3rd in sportsman, but got tangled up in the main and wound up 7th. Power was great and 10 min pit stops were no problem!

Stock Mugen clutch. 7 carb insert. I tried the Rb v3 #5 glow plug. The engine is a beast but very smooth I've never ran the os plugs but I would recomend the rb v3 plugs or a nova c6tgc

The Rex Legend 7 Offroad engines are in stock. They are like a keepoff 7. It is available with steel, or ceramic bearings.

Legend 4 engines will be available soon.

I,am considering a murnan modified for my next engine could you please tell me
more about the RB BXRDI5 and the reds R5T V3 and how they comper to each
other.does the RB work well with the 2097 pipe and which manifold is best
i have the RB compact long and short, the long parabolic and the 192p.
Are any of the reds pipes that suit the R5T thick walled like the nova super strongs and the RB pipe.

thanks rick...

Rick I have run a lot of uriahs motors. What exactly are you using the motor for? Buggy or truggy? Big outdoor loose or high traction small or what? And no there is no Reds pipe equivalent to the Super Strong Novas in regards to strength that I'm aware of. My first reds pipe dented pretty easily. Also Reds engines need Reds/Picco headers only.

Hi Rick. I can't compare to the Reds R5Tv3 yet. My DI5 is a very powerful engine, which can be used for buggy, or truggy.

The engine works great with the 2097. I have not tried the 192p header on it. I have tried the 2097 with short compact, and nova 41021, 41032. The 2097 makes a lot of power, fuel consumption is not the best. As far as feel, to me the 2097 is one of the best, it just lacks a little mileage compared to the 2096, and 9901. The 2097 makes a lot of controllable bottom end, and has good top end too.

I'm not aware of any reds pipe with a wall as thick as a nova ss.

Much thanks Uriah

I can't believe how easy you make engine building / repairs looks. I'm slacking on the build and will test / tune this weekend.

Thanks again for you kindness, willingness, and mechanical support!!!
