Default OSS classes???

Well....it has been brought up previously a little bit......what is the "vote" on running 1/10 as part of the series????....

Previously I believe the concern was the Bend track being so large and ends up being pretty "Washougal" like by the end of the weekend???.....well, with the HDRC track not in the series this year, what do you guys think??....

We basically need a "head" count of who would be up for including 1/10 in the series??

Taking into consideration, if you already run 1/8 buggy AND truggy in the series and you would like to run 1/10....it would be offered as a discount entry fee....it would NOT be the flat $25 per class....

Throw out your ideas, concerns, questions, reservations, comments???....

If you would like...you can also address this via PM to me....thanks fellas.

Chad

I think there might be enough people for a truck class. And it seems like there are always enough SC guys. 4wd buggy would be good to see too. Hmmmm gas truck would be a blast!!!

Count me in for one.

Stadium truck...stadium truck...stadium truck!!!

On a serious note. Adding some electric classes would be great. The kid and I only run nitro buggy and the days can get kinda boring with just that. Only problem I see is what 1/10th classes to add? 4wd buggy, 2wd mod buggy, mod truck and mod SC? I personally would run either 2wd buggy or mod truck as that's what we have now. Too many classes just mean empty heats.

Chad and I spoke this week of the possible additional electric classes. 2wd Mod, Short Course Mod, Stadium Mod and Wheeler with a "open novice" class for beginners seem like a class structure.

Biggest thing that really comes to mind for me is that we could have the electric and nitro entries separate in corner marshaling.

Example:
Race 1 of buggy would be marshaled by race 7 of truggy, race 8 of 2wd would be marshaled by race 12 of SCT.

Thoughts? Make Chad aware if your interested in electric racing in the summer

You could run an NCT style format with electrics in the morning and nitro in the afternoon. That'd give guys like me a nice advantage where the nitro only guys have too much time on their hands in the morning and drink too much before they are up!

And if your planning on adding 1/10th scale classes you should do them in the morning like someone already mentioned and nitro in the afternoons. But then on another note I think there's enough classes with the 1/8th scales and SC's... What I'm getting to is.. we barely finish all the heats in a day already and you wanna add more classes... I think it's a bad idea. Just my 2 cents
