Default OSS 2012

Here are the dates we are thinking for the coming 2012 Oregon State Series.

April 20,21,22 Bend
May 18,19,20 Medford
June 15,16,17 Lebanon
July 20,21,22 Medford
August 17,18,19 Lebanon
September 14,15,16 Bend

Entry Fee: $25 per class
Trophies for Top 3 in each class at every race.

We are trying to keep it the same as last year as far as format & classes, but as always things can change.

Feel free to post up opinions, ideas & general mouth.

Wish you posted this last month when the wife got tickets to Hawaii .... any chance you wanna push that first Bend race back a week to the last weekend in April I have to ask lol. I really wanna make a go of this, this year and hit all 6 races.

If not I understand and you guys will have to start the party without me

FYI The 2012 Spring Shoot-Out is the following weekend in wenatchee. the 27th - 29th of april. The supercross is in seattle the weekend your choosing. Just a heads up, would be nice to work the schedules so everyone could race both the NCT ans the OSS. Just a thought.

Speaking for myself.....I would like to do both the NCT and OSS...but we dont always get what we want...this area get so much bad weather that everyone tries to jam everything in during the nice weather....You just have to choose what you would like to race and where you feel you have the most fun...
Just my 2 cents

I think we would all like to do both but I know for me the OSS series is where its at, best bang for the buck with a great group of people

Mike you haven't been to a NCT race for awhile. With the New Sportsman class you now get 3-7 min quals and at lest a 10 min main and if you made the A 20 min. How come none of the Oregon track want to host a series race? Thenm you could race in your back yard at lest once.

Santiam Hobbies is about 1 year away from hosting an NCT. I hope to see many of the WA racers down here when we can host one.

But, I feel what Mike is trying to say. If you Washingtonians had to drive even half as much as we Oregonians had to in order to race an NCT, the series would not be half of what it is. Still, this is no fault of the NCT's but that of the state of Oregon. Stupid politics...
