Dennis/Ray - Thanks for the hard work that you've put into the car. It's almost ready. I've got several hours to go and I'm waiting on a few things before I go track side. Hopefully I'll have them this week. You guys rock!! Keep up the great work!!!

Congrats to Brian and Boddy and all the Team Magic drivers that were at Toledo this past weekend.

Mark

Could you or Brian post his setup from that meeting ?
Darren????? I think this is you, right? I will get my setup on here soon for all the Team Magic drivers. I need to get some numbers from the setup board. My car is all apart right now as I am prepping it for the US Nationals. I have to get it out for shipping in the next day or 2.

The car was very good at Toledo. It is a great starting point for someone with a maintained and high traction track as well as smooth.

I'll try to have it up tonight.

anyone have a good engine/pipe combo for the G4S? an engine not super expensive, but one that can definetly do the job. Sirio Evo anyone?

Hi Brian,

Yes this is Darren, thanks for that, having seen the video, the setup would provide good info.

The track does look well maintained and very smooth ! those boards look a little unforgiving though !!

There is a set up sheet here,

http://www.cmldistribution.co.uk/pro...n_04_06_06.pdf

from our last national, which was a small track, with many corners (the gearing was for small tyres, so it was slightly wrong for tyre sizes on sheet, ooops !!) on the clutch i used:

1.7mm spring,
2 brass weights (from old clutch, about half the weight of the UFO ones)
0.6mm gap
0.8mm tension
red shoe & weights

the clutch worked well, although not a high grip track, from looking at your video your tracks are very different from most of ours here in the UK.

Thanks,
Darren.

I use a OS .12 R-Spec and RD Logics pipe on my Mongoose, and will use the same on my G4s when the upgrade reaches me.
