are foam tires as good as rubber tyres? do they wear out quicker or do they have more wear on them? do they give more grip?
do u have to true them all the time?
also can you tell me why they are more expensive?
thanks

Its not a straight cut answer if its better. They can be more grippy on certain conditions.
Will they wear faster.......sometimes yes or no , again depends on the conditions.
No you dont have to true them all the time if you dont have extreme camber.
I can find nitro foams for 9 dollars a pair. I cant find a rubber tire , rim and insert for less than that. Usually spending 20 dollars a pair for that.

Wear - depends on track and the shore you use but for the performance-to-wear ratio, probably as good as rubber.
Grip - foams definitely gives a lot more grip.

what is the shore, what shore is for what type of conditions?
can you suggest some brands and/or sites to get good foams!

What shore depends on track's surface ( grip level ) and track's temperature.
Ask your friends who use sponge tires.
37 or 40 should be good to start.

Foams hook up great, but they chunk out easy if you are hitting stuff.

shore is the hardness level of the foam.the lesser the number, the softer the foam
