Pro Clutch setting

Any one got a Good base line setup for the pro clutch( lw weights, spp plate, lw bell, black spring,) I built it the same as a normal one and there was just way too much slip?

Try running the clutch with 3 grubscrews in the flyweights.....
I find it much better that way....

To make your 960 an '07, you will need:

903213 - SPP Hard plastic parts.
803169 - SPP Soft rear swaybar
903161 - SPP Alum Arm holder (-1mm)
903205 - T2 Side stiffener
902280 - Front CVD axle.
903228 - Bearing block RR left hard V2
903211 - Servo saver set with adjustable Ackerman

These are the Major additions to the car.

Although the part# for the chassis is not listed, the chassis which comes with the 07 is a black hard anodized chassis with the motor mount milled like the LCG Pro chassis. So maybe you can substitute the stock chassis part# with the LCG Pro version.

Contact your local hobby shop to find out pricing.

Kamikaze Toys and Hobbies has all these parts in stock.

, stupid me....
3 offcourse....
(I've corrected this in the original post......)

What I also want to try, is instead of placing the flyweights on the pins, place them in between the pins, yes like Mugen

But as I actually most of the time only attend races and don't really practise a lot, It might take a while before I tested this myself.......

Default Regional Champs!

This past weekend at the Gulf coast raceway in Houston Texas we had the Region Nine Championships. It was the secound time i had the pleasure of driving the 960, and it was just simply put awsome, in the first round i set the Tq, by a good margin, in the secound round the air changed and the tune was off a little, but i made a few changes that made the car even better but with the tune being off, i didnt get to show it. I lost tq by 3 tenths of a secound. But in the main event it was on, i led wire to wire to take a convencing win by several laps over the runner up. All in all i learned a little more about the car, i cant wait to learn more. Jeremy Cupps

Jeremy, congratulations on your Region 9 Championship! I am really glad you are finding the serpent 960 to your liking. You are a fast learner. Paolo and I must have taught you well in the short time we were able to work with you at the Texas Biggie. When you get a chance, please post your setup so the other 960 owners will be able to view it.
