Who is this? Where do you and your friend run your car in Taiwan?

Hi Jeffrey,

I think we met in silverstone(old layout) last year and didn't talk too much there. Actually, I don't have enough time for R/C because of my god damn busy work, I spent almost 1 month to finish my evolva2005. Now, I don't go to silverstone, due to some reasons. Hey, I don't mean that AKO made a worng decision to do this change, I trust he still has many loyal customers and team silverstone including you.

I and my friend play in a pulic track, it's a heaven for 1/8, almost the same layout as IFMAR 2005 1/8 track. I think you should know where I talking about. Sometime, you also can see some 1/8 guys of team silverstone run there. Very good track for 1/8, wide track width, long straight and high speed corner. You can even see STS guys testing their new engine there.

However, it's not important to know who I am. Good luck to your next race event.

Why not set it up yourself like everyone else?
Theres no magic formula. Everyone drives differently, and every car depending on how its been built will vary slightly.

Default Practice

Hey Chris,

Give me a call, 650-280-6095, to talk about track time. The RAMS have been talking about more test and tune days - practice. If we have enough interest - it would be fun

rcrossco_1,

Thank you for this very helpful tip That reply must have taken some time

I thought the point of a forum like this was to exchange information on the car and any feedback we have on setup (especially on a brand new car!). I applaud the guys at Empire for taking the time to share any feedback they have on this awsome car.

Also a big thank you to Josh Cyrul who takes the time to help out the "average" racer. These two groups of people along with many others in the hobby set the bar on what we should be doing. Helping each other out.

i picked up an evolva and wanted to know if the following hop-ups are available (if so, who distributes them):

aluminum middle bearing block
hollow middle shaft
upgraded brake disk
adjustable rear anti-roll bar
aluminum radio plate support (underneath roll bar)
stiffer servo saver spring (not sure if i need this)

these are all hop-ups that i liked on my 950 team edition. just wondering what kind of support there is for the evolva.

thanks,
chris

hollow middle shaft (Not available)
upgraded brake disk (APP Brakes, Kyosho, - the best, Ace hobbies)
adjustable rear anti-roll bar (Kyosho Optional part#)

Get the 2005 Upgrade kit. More steering, Great new tank - plus other improvements.
