Same sites also only do the Foam version of the FW05R, so maybe they're not stocking the Rubber version.
Try e-mailing Pro-Shop Futaba

With the new upper deck, I could move my fuel tank back and forth a little bit.

You dont need to buy the adaptor, a plastic adaptor should have been included in your kit. The only thing you need to purchase are the diff joints, part #VZ218.

i know someone who used the plastic insert for a solid axle and it didn't last the day out, twisted the center out, thats why people are buying the 3racing alloy one

afm- the rrr diff is narrower than the rr/g4 diff, sorry to be the bearer of bad news

if it helps, the guy you won the national champs in the uk with his g4 made a solid axle out of the oneway, drilled though oneway housing and though the shaft on the outdrive and knocked a pin though, held with strong glue, i'm thinking of doing the same on my rrr, should be alot lighter

Does anyone know what brand or tyres the Kyosho team were usuing at the Worlds? They look sweet. Are they Kyosho brand foams?
#1332
The ones that come in the worlds kit are GRP 37's front and rear, so i would take it that the tires were GRP's.

make sure you got servo horns because it does not come with any, and there was not enough shims in the kit to do the clutch properly, just two little annoyances - was the regular rrr kit the same?
other then a few niggles the car looks great and should prove to be a rocket ship

I did have just enough shims supplied in the kit to shim the clutch properly.
Theyre certainly a rocket-ship even out of the box. Mine got its first race day yesterday at Moorebank and managed 14 laps running basically the stock setup, and theres plenty more speed to be dialled in yet
Cheers
