Also run the piece under water first to keep the fiber dust to a minimum. Use a mask too fpr bigger c/f jobs like grinding or milling. Otherwise you'll be blowing black stuff out of your nose. Not good.

Default front and rear shox

I was wondering about the placement of shocks on the front lower arm for the 3RRR...there s two options ....the kit one says to mount on higher hole wot happens if i mount it on the lower hole.

The RRR is lighter and wont have torque steer, but belt cars for some reason do not get off the blocks too quickly.
Which ever way you go you must have one-way and front overdrive so the front pulls the car straight with a little wheelspin.
Yeah its a straight line sprint....about 80 meters or so of track. I was thinking of geting the combination Josh used... 37 ring gears and 23/ 27 pinions with 45/50 spurs... on the FW05 !! that might make it a bit faster then the usual..

I have not yet played with my RRR yet.. so i am not used to the setup on this car. As you said earlier the gearings are diff on this car.// any fast gear combinations on this car which i should look at ?

By the way the track you race on has quite large striaghts u must be on 37 ring gears urself right. ... what pinions are you using.....

cheers

You need to fit the longer shock end and you will have slightly more leverage.

Main straight is 155ft (47m)
If I was running the Kyosho ring gears then yes it would be 37T, but I run the Kawahara ring gears, 45T both ends.

Can someone help me with the above mention problem? I stripped my 2nd spur again today I was using 17/23 and 60/55. I rechecked my motor mount it is still tight( not moving). Is my gearing ratio between 1st and 2nd jumped too much? If I m not mistaken this gearing ratio was used by the pros during the worlds.

Check your second gear meshing again. It's kind of hard to check the second gear but you must make sure that it is tight. Also is your 2 speed working right? Is it shifting too late or too early? That might be a problem too.
