Default plese help noob in crisis :)

hello guys forgive me for posting this question in this thread, being that it is about an mrx4x. but this seems to be the only mugen 8th scale on-road blog that's active. i recently purchased the vehicle used. and was looking into getting some gears for the 2-speed centax style clutch. i noticed that the mugen gears were $5-$6 more expensive than the kyosho gears that amainhobbies has in stock.
here my dilemma, will the mugen clutch bell accept the kyosho gears and do you know if they would mate up with the mugen spur gears without a problem.
thank you very much in advance. i appreciate any assistance.

I believe the pitch is different & if it works I would use the kyosho gears as they wear out to quickly

I know the first gear pinion will thread rite on. I tried one of there 15 tooth pinions. It is not hard anodized so it will not last as long. As far as the rest of kyosho's 1/8th drive-train; keep in mind Lamberto Collari replaced his entire Kyosho drive train with Mugen's at the 09 Worlds...
Try nitrohouse for the Mugen stuff.

Stick with the Mugen gears. They are stronger and last longer. Kyosho spurs will NOT fit unless you go with the whole Kyosho gearbox, which would be a downgrade IMO.
