Kfactory Goodies
Good News,
Managed to get my G4RS 09 around 70% or so complete... Have the Front and Rear on the Car itself and set... at this point I am up to around Step 15 or so and just need the Servos and the like to get this up and running properly.
Will be taking it up to the Local Hobby Store on Thurs/Friday just to ensure that the build is nice and perfect as this is the first kit i have built. At this point it has been a lot of fun and cant wait to see what it will be like when its done.
I will be running the following gear:
RB Concept R3 V12
K Factory 6001 Missile Pipe
6v-1100mah Ni-MH Lightweight Rectangle Receiver Pack
Hitec HS-7965MG Servos
KO Propo KR-407S Receiver
KO Propo EX5-UR Transmitter
Any thoughts or options I should invest in folks?

RS09 K Factory Lola conversion.
This upgrade looks impressive for outlaw classes, anyone use it?
Seems to have a locked rear diff as well as body downforce applied to the hubs direct as per 1/8 scale.
What would be a good high downforce body to take advantage of this feature?
Edit - Took another look at the web page, P/N K14310.
Definitely a spool rear diff complete with diff gear, upper arm pivot assy's, bulkheads etc. Front and rear wheels wider and looks to suit a 235mm body.

K Factory hard anodised pulleys.
Has anyone weighed these and compared to the stock plastic, heavier, lighter?

RS09 arm revision and now K Factory versions too.
I noticed on the TM site a revised part number for some of the arms, also noticed on the K Factory site P/N;s for arms.
So what do we know about these parts? Different material or different mouldings? Any testing been done and what are the advantages?
Any feedback welcome, seems the TM product releases are made with very little fanfare sometimes
Edit - TM front lower arm P/N revised from 504082 to 504134.
K Factory front lower arm P/N K14262
K Factory front upper arm P/N K14261
K Factory rear lower arm P/N K14263

Are you running the 2mm split, also are you using the diff up front,or the solid. If you have to run 37/42, sounds like your car maybe having a pushing problem or the track has really high tire wear. Also droop settings maybe alittle off.I run 35/37,37/40,40/42 an if traction really low maybe 32/35 an thats a big maybe on the 32/35.Can you post your setup maybe i can help.

What typically would you run as a set-up when traction is real low using the 32/35?

Have you recieved the hard anodised pulleys yet, what do you think of them?
How is the weight compared to the nylon ones?

Just wondering if anyone has tested any of the new parts released recently?
Has anyone got hold of any of the new suspension arms, pulleys, 2 speed clutches etc?
TM have a revised front lower arm and k Factory have full set of front upper, lower and rear lower.
Also available is a TM front swaybar in 1.0mm (Kit style not the K Factory type)
TM have what looks like a kit type nylon pulley set with zero overdrive compared to the kit 4.xx% overdrive.
As mentioned a TM revised 2 speed clutch shoe set
Any test data or personal thoughts appreciated.
