I think you meant this...

I think like somebody mentioned that getting the Mugen clutch bell and fitting Mugen 0.8 module pinions is a cheaper solution !

So when I get the parts I should have the car where I want it!

Kawahara Centre Conversion
Kawahara Front Conversion
3racing chasis
3 racing top deck
MTX-3 rear hubs

Cheers

Oops yeah I did.

I also edited the post as I found what the centre conversion does.

Cheers

Note that it will give a very slight front overdrive with that combo. About 1.5 mm worth of tire diameter difference between front and rear.

Best option is to use centre conversion with 27 pinion = FDR 4.51
With the Mugen pinions and 39T ring gears;

1st gear (20/51) = 7.65
2nd gear (29/45) = 4.66

With the stock pinions and Kawahara ring gears;

1st gear (20/51) = 6.9
2nd gear (27/45) = 4.51

Which is cheaper and easier on spares?

My S710 blows this car out of the water( only on the straight). Now what is the point of passing someone in the infield if they are going to pass you right back on the straight?

Also,

All my engines run hotter in this car.
I think it's your manifold/pipe man. I will try and make it this sunday and you can see if my car with the Kyosho pipe works better--I couldn't stay full throttle very long before I had to let off for the corner. The car is nowhere near it's top speed at revelation's straight and I am using stock gears and 39t ring gears.

Default gears

hi guys,
went to the track today to try a few things...short work day..
39 ring front, 40 ring rear, 22/50 , 29/45.
jp ns3 worlds (not too many of these babies around, i have 2).
kyosho pipe and header..........................
man does this car go.........our rear straight is at least 120metres long wth a sharp 90 degree bend at the end.
this car just keeps pulling........the car is twitchy at high speeds...i think due to trying a new radio as well...ex-10 helios........i blew second gear...on closer inspection i seen that the mesh wasnt 100%...out with the dremel and widened the engine mounting holes...now i got the mesh right...a quick run and no probs....now i need to work on the set-up...ran out of daylight...race day sunday......ill try a few things..
mike

Have you remember to turn the head 90 degrees, as most have cooling vent for transverse fitment and the FW05 is longtitude fitment.
Also the motors in the FW need to be set up different to other cars due to the pipe.
Try richening the bottom end and lean out the top end (it will take a while to get it right), that's what I done to my NS12 S3 and boy does it scream.
Also make sure you haven't overgeared the car (as most appear to be doing), 21/50 - 26/45 with 39 diff is plenty for the 150ft Aldershot straight.

I believe Rev Race has a longer straights than that.

Are you sure that it not 120 feet? 120 meters is like close to 400 feet !
