Lightbulb It's here!

I bought the LW chassis today and the digital servo from JR..the Z9000s that has 128oz torque @.06transit time. Gonna try the R40 out tomorrow as well as the 8th. So far my radio doesn't seem to glitch anymore though spektrum is still on the list for sometime next week.

Merry Christmas R40 Owners.

--

BTW Posted some photos of the chassis and car last night. Got my new P-Dub Racing Bumper installed. Its got much more protection vs the stock bumper. Helps keep those wheels protected. From what I hear this helps with a few problems of breakage on the R40. Almost a neccessity.

As well got my Spektrum and new Stratus 3.1 body. I just need to decide what im going to do with motor. Should I go with my D3R or new D12X. I run on technical parkinglot track so I figure I should stick with D3R.

Here are the photos.

If I ever were to order from RC mart I hope that's what I get and NOT the stock kit. . Drove the R40 with the new gears and man o man such a change! The car runs a lot better with this gear setup. I also may slap the MT12 back in there just for the heck of it to see how it runs. Surely it will be quite the competition on the track even. .

LOL yeah even the 2004 kit on there has the stock kit listed for info. I think they will just look at the part number.

Im a bit disapointed in the 2005 kit. There are no titanium screws, no stiff arms and the older shocks. I was hoping for these items to be included for the sort of coin they are asking for it in the US.

Agreed, HPI needs to be more serious if they were to make a pro nitro sedan.

s9550 all around. Weighs less and still performs just as quick. Want to save some dough , s3010 on throttle would be ok , unless you need full digital setup.
