Jet Hobby and HPI make them. They are purple 3mm ID spacers, you can get them in different widths.

That's a lovely R40. Is that the STS engine?

I like the pipe...the stinger is pushed in, just like mine. It doesn't make a good bumper, does it?

I got them from my pro4 kit that I bought , the guy had a ton of extras so I used them on the r40. They do really nothing...but they are cleaner and wont pop off during a race. Allthough that never happened, I could see it.

Got the idea from staring at HARA's chassis for days. Ive pretty much mimicked his kit as much as possible, but have gone out on my own things on quite a few things.

Yeah that RDLogic pipe is about to head off to ebay. I just want to get a good motor and tune it out , then swap to the CVEC to see the true difference. It was really bad in that photo. I just wait till I get the thing really hot , then I bring it in and grab it with the needle nose and pull like im hoping a gold nugget pops out. Those pipes are really bendable once hot.

You should also try 3mm racers edge flat head washers. More secure and looks nice. Just have to convert a few screws.
