Question about shock oil:

How do I use the shock oil to tune the performance of the Evo 2? Right now i have lots and lots of traction and i was thinking of going up in weight to slow the speed of the rolling of the car. Is this the right direction?

you can try that but usually i would mess with the roll centers as that has a dramatic effect on the rotation of the car.

I have some in stock and they look too small i'll have to measure to be sure. The lightweight diff fits well though, and is very similar in design to the sirio/shimo clutch.

the diff is the same as the nt1 and i don't think it will fit without major work. Shimo parts are out of stock all over including kyosho themselves. I should have more parts in stock in a few weeks when they replenish.

Shock oil tuning is for subtle changes. I would first look at tire selection; try a harder shore

Hi I hope someone can be so kind as to answer a question I have.

Are the new EVO2 spur and pinion gears backwards compatible with the V1RRR WC edition ?

I know that the 2 speed shoes changed to the evolva ones, does this mean I have to purchase the evolva 2 speed, or is it pretty much the same as the 2 speed in the RRR WC edition?

Thanks!

Ok thanks, much appreciated.

Just one other thing... you know the rear adjustable sway bar, that rubbed on the rear belt, did Kyosho ever resolve this and make a new one that didnt have this problem?

Cheers.

you can just dremel the bottom flat so it does not rub the belt, you do have to take alot off but it doesn't hurt with the performace of the sway bar have never had a rear belt failure
