Hello from France,

You're right JSpeed, it's why we choose to give all drivers the same plastic tyres.
No need to have big engines or last-to-date chassis because the poor tyres drift a lot, and we have to be carefull on throttle!!!

So, for sure, the IGT can compet with a good driver and good set-up.

Last week-end, we raced the last of the three rounds of the RG Challenge.

It was in Tarbes (south west of France).

Here's some videos

Final C

Final B

Big Final A

And some pictures:

My car is the Flash Mc Queen Car in final A!!

I set the fastest lap, and there was no much than 5s between me and the second, but unfortunatly I ran out of fuel at the last pit stop, so I finshed third...

Au revoir

Very cool videos & pics from France.

You can almost feel the connecting rods stretching with the single speeds you run.

Looks like you had fun too

I'm working on my IGT2 right now, your post was a nice break, thanks

Such a shame the "swiss-cheese" treatment to allow cooling to the engine will scar that car's beuaty.

Do they have electric GT Buggy-chassis Cars yet for this class?

I am surprise that isn't more buzz about the release of the McClaren IGT. I got to see and run one first hand today. All I have say that this is handsdown the sweetest body of them all!!

Ye s can you believe that it was nice enough in Nebraska to driving outdoors at 9:00 at night.

The McLaren looks very cool! Can't wait to see it up close. I had a McLaren body on my 5th scale FG until I destroyed it at 301 last year.

Our LHS got two of them direct from Kyosho America. We back order them the day they announced them. By far the coolest of them all.

Also just to let everyone know that we will be having the GT class as one of the classes this year as the ROAR sedan Nationals. Granted this will be a exhibition class but it will be a great step foward to making this class an official ROAR class. If everyone remembers this is how monster truck started out. More info will be coming soon alonf with rules for the class.

If you didn't know this years Nats. is an IFMAR Worlds qualifier so it should be well attend by the manufacturers. This being said it might not be out of the question that a few factory guys might be throwing a box stock IGT.

http://www.kyosho.com/eng/products/r...duct_id=104520 <- McLaren GT.

I dunno, the Corvette has this thing beat in body looks and functionality. The McLaren's front end looks too... 1985 Volvo 240 DL-ish to me.
