Well, yeah. That's why I asked if, anyone was using aluminum or carbon graphite mounts. I had to put a bigger set-screw in the hole. But, that's just a quick/temporary fix. The plastic doesn't allow you to snug the screw, enough to keep the bar from turning.

Sorry man, didn't see your post until today. Real big turn-out, but not a good racing surface. The track was very "green" with no line (groove of traction, driven into the racing surface, where the best way around the track lay). The surface was pretty rough with dips and ruts in various areas. Oh, well. The next race will be in 2 weeks at The Alpine Bar and Restaurant on Rt. 42 in South Jersey (the same Road as last year's Hpi Challenge, just a little further down.). Go to the O.R.L. thread in the Electric On-road forum. Also go to www.sixfoottiger.com For all the details. Hope to see you there!

hi ya doing man. Ive been sick all week missed few days from work, but i did go out this weekend with my touring car (v one rr evo) and my 1/8 evolva everything went wrong. I blew up my 1/8 scale motor. Then my touring car kept traction rolling.
And the problem that i thought that i got rid of , started again.
The left rear wheel keeps getting positive camber. What else can i do???

DAMN!!! And I thought, I, had a bad raceday! As far the positive camber goes... sounds like the plastic parts of the the rear link are stripping out. Try changing them out.

It means the spring is made of wire with a "2.0"mm diameter and they have "5" active coils.

Joop: I'll change the belt and examine the pulley before any big race if there wear sign on the belt. You don't want the belt to give away during your big event. Also most of time my belt start to tear or cut due to worn 18teeth pulley. You can always reuse the old belt or pulley if you are just bashing the car or practice runs.

Yeah guy
Its always important for any of my cars to be well maintained.
WHY wait for a belt to pop, strip or start missing teeth.
Because a worn belt or pulley can cause u to loose a race.
Bottom line. (always inspect your car when you just finish running it) :
