This can be very subjective depend on the track condition. I suggest ask the local racer that manage to get their car smooth. Otherwise have to use experiment If the 40/30 wt still bummpy than use 40/10 !? Others? What do you say man..

Spring tension can fool us sometime even you used correct wt shock oil. So have to get good combination. Try to reduce the rear tension first and try that.

I DONT KNOW IF I MAKE SENSE HERE.

I have put in my order for one from Harmony Models in HK.

What are the advantages of using the aluminum pulley against those plastic one that come with the kit? Are they worth to replace?

the advantage is claimed to have less friction but the downside is heavier and it wears fast. I stick with plastic pulley.
