download manual and exploded view if needed. Also you say traction not that good at your local track ...I would set the car up on the soft side to find some added traction.also www.nitrokb.com has great build tips from alot of the guys on rctech..
hope this helps

Whats up fellas who going to what races....hope to see some of you guys soon at the U.S Open and at the Capitol Classic

Hello fellow RRR owners.

sorry if this question has been done to death...

I have just finished rebuilding my crashed RRR and wish to add some EVO parts to it. So far it only has K-Factory shock towers and bumper mount upgrades, as well as the upgraded Kyosho chassis (the brown colored one?)

So far I have figured I need the EVO radio tray. I have also read that the rear bulkheads, and rear sway setup are different..

Could anybody quote part names/numbers for the most useful additions to get my RRR to EVO status?

Much appreciated

Here's a pic anyway!

Im not sure on the sway bars, but I know the shocks are different, the upper deck, not sure what else. Kyosho did offer a evo conversion kit but I think It was way over priced, like 200.00. I would just drive the rrr wce and not worry about upgrading to evo, I have heard they are about dead equal on the track. Also I see the evo 2 is coming out now

The middle and hear shaft are hollow, the brake stop pulley is different (the rear shaft is different becaus of this too), also the rear bulk head (more opcions to adjust the roll center), the shocks (with new blue springs), the radio plate has stand up throttle servo and new red brake pads (that sucks, use the k-factory or the kyosho app pads)

Cheers guys,

I will just upgrade as I see necessary... or when I break things

Time to take apart again and see if I can loosen up that drive train a bit, its too tight for my liking (coming from someone used to the smooth and free spinning of shaft driven electric cars such as the HPI Pro 4)

Thanks.

Default shock oils

hi everyone was wondering if anyone could tell me what is the standard shock oil range for the evo, please tell me the brand of oil, so not to get confused with all the different oil charts.

Cheers

Look forward to 301 I just hope I don't have to trek it solo like last year Getting old I would have to sleep 1/2 of the day @ the track to make up for the ride

Yeah, but 45 wt. of which brand?: Trinity, Losi, Associated, Xray, etc.. Some are heavier or lighter than the Kyosho brand.
