THe 55 works good the GLARC track, with the longer straight. As far as pinions, I dont know the tooth count, but Im using the blue first gear and the black second.
Blue = 23T
Black = 17T

Thanks guys. (Sam & Steve) You are crazy! So do you think the RCX race layout will be like the parking lot track, so should I get the 55/23 for the second gear? I ran the 16/60 first gear at CP and the transition seemed a little weird going into the infield straight.

Everyone likes pictures right?

Heres my RRR project so far. Bought this chassis for $150 after the previous owner hit the curb full speed at the end of the straight. Front of chassis was bent around 45 degrees, screws snapped which hold the front bulkheads onto the chassis etc etc.

Parts added so far:

New chassis (the brown colored one)
K-Factory front bumper mount (just for looks)
K-Factory rear shock tower
K-Factory front shock tower

Still need to pick new bulkheads up from the hobby store I work at and I can have the front end in one piece.

This is my long-term project, eventually I hope to have many more k-factory bits and pieces, and an ENGINE!

also anyone know which headers are a perfect fit for this car?

72106460 will this o.s. one fit good, it says its for the v-one s3 ????

Ive got an os speed pipe, and mine currenty (second hand pipe & header)
is hitting the front side pulley, even tho the motor is straight, it seems like either the header is wrong or bent in too much???

You are going to get a lot of different opinions on this one so be prepared. For steering I would use either the futaba 9452, or the JR 9100S. Throttle, go with either the Futaba 9551, or the JR DS 9411. For the engine, I use the IDM. Monster torque, good top speed and great mileage.

Default Evo

I bought a THS1015 for the pipe. Still searching for the best engine. I saw picco evo is the common one.
For the servos, Airtronics 94758Z for the throttle and Futaba S9452 for the steering. Need any suggestion.
