The only comment I have, is don't use any 3racing parts for the drivetrain.

korevo: nice pictures. by the way, i noticed that one of the kits are using different shocks. are those serpent shocks? thanks

yup, i've use one in my RR-Evo and one crash the result was a bent left front universal tried to hammer it to be straightened out to no avail

Are RRR shocks exchangeable with any other 1/10 shocks?

That is a logical choice. The really big $ item is to convert the shocks. The rear shaft/pulley/pads and the top deck are relatively inexpensive. One thing that has changed but haven't been mentioned much is the brake cam shaft, brake cam arm and rear sway bar plate. That's been redesigned and you should have stronger leverage now with that setup.

Our LHS(DOGBONE IND) carries Knack item I also use Knack on my rear diff

here’s a picture of the side belt tensioner. the main difference that i have found is that the wce comes with a fiberglass reinforced plastic while the rrr evo just comes with a plastic similar material to the arms

here are pictures of the new spur gears made of harder material. it's colored gray compared to the black spur gears that came with the wce kit. the pinions are still aluminum though. it would have been better if they inclided the steel pinion gears instead of the aluminum ones
